Get Stuffed Deli

“I usually just come and say ‘surprise me, Harry’,” said one customer on a recent visit. So we did the same. One chili cheese toast, spicy Mexican steak wrap and chicken salad later and we were exceedingly happy. Harry, a lovely bloke, is Ghanaian-born of Indian heritage and set up Tandoor (see right), an Accra mainstay of 25 years. His southern American drawl is testament to the subsequent years he spent in Florida, but when family called he returned to set up Get Stuffed Deli and be involved again with Tandoor, now run by his son. The place itself is just a little courtyard not far from the US Embassy, but incredibly popular thanks to the freshly cooked food and affable banter from Harry himself. A great lunch spot.
