As Time Out Market Barcelona prepares to open this summer, further additions have been unveiled to its curated lineup of award-winning chefs, up-and-coming restaurateurs and much-loved local gems.
Time Out Market is a food and cultural market based on editorial curation – it brings the best of the city together under one roof: its best chefs and restaurateurs, drinks and cultural experiences.
With almost all vendors announced, Time Out Market Barcelona is dedicated to showcasing local and homegrown talent, making high-quality food from some of the city’s best talents affordable and accessible. The space in which Time Out Market Barcelona will be located – in the Port Vell area on the top floor of the Maremagnum – is currently undergoing a transformation to create a uniquely-designed destination for people to come together to enjoy culinary and cultural experiences in a casual, communal atmosphere. Complementing this celebration of Barcelona’s best food, drinks and culture, the Market will offer incredible city and sea views, including Barceloneta’s iconic Torre del Rellotge (clock tower) and the new Llotja de Pescadors (the city’s renewed fish market).
Time Out Market Barcelona will feature 14 chefs and restaurateurs, a full-service restaurant, four bars (two indoor and two outdoor), an event space and a podcast station across 5,250 sqm; there will be direct access from the street via an escalator and an elevator.
