Over the past few years the ‘catering to an extremely nice market’ market has seen a boom. From ABBA brunches to weird and wonderful AirBnBs, there really is something for everyone these days, and now it’s time for the lefties to shine.

Lough Erne resort near Enniskillen in Northern Ireland has been offering a special ‘left-handed experience’ throughout April, where the ten percent of the population so commonly forgotten can enjoy luxury tailored to their needs. According to the hotel’s website: ‘Left-handers can enjoy a luxury overnight stay in the Fermanagh Lakelands specially created with their needs in mind.

‘While enjoying the mouth-watering dining experiences with locally sourced ingredients at the Catalina Restaurant, left-handers will notice place settings and service have been adapted to their needs.’

The package includes a night’s stay, plus a five course meal, and access to their infinity pool and spa. You’ll also receive a left-handed pen and notebook, to end your days of ink-smearing as you write. If you're into golfing, you'll have the option to book a lesson and upgrade to a left-handed expert for no extra cost. They’ve really considered everything.

If you’re sick and tired of everything being made for the right-handers and fancy a night away before the end of April, you can book yourself a stay here. Enjoy the luxury. After years of hitting yourself with doors and being unable to use scissors, you’ve earned it.
