Asia's first '360-degree theatre' started business in Toyosu in March 2017. With a capacity of over 1,300, it wows with seating set on a circular, rotating platform around which the stage and huge screens are set up. Sound confusing? We're not quite sure how it works either, but expect a multisensory experience not unlike that of an IMAX movie – plus all the movement, of course. This particular design was originally introduced in the Netherlands, and TBS then managed to acquire exclusive rights to build the world's second IHI Stage.
