Shibuya's Streamer Coffee Company – the Seattle-style café run by champion latte artist Hiroshi Sawada – chose an unusual location for its first sister shop. Just a few minutes' walk from central Harajuku, this second Streamer Coffee Company occupies a tiny sliver of real estate next to United Arrows. The counter on the ground floor dispenses milky lattes, hot cocoa and something called 'caramel mud slide', but if you want to drink in-store you'll need to head upstairs. There are two supremely cosy upper floors here, with stools and sofas, a selection of highbrow magazines and ample natural lighting. If you can snag a seat, you'll feel like the king of your own coffee castle.
