Previously known as 'Sake Plaza', the Japan Sake and Shochu Information Center disseminates an abundance of information about Japanese alcohol. It got a bit of a facelift when it moved two blocks across the road to its current location in late August 2016, and the new space is airy and modern but welcoming. As well as being able to search for particular brands by computer, there is also a wealth of information available through the many brochures and books dotted around the event space. You're welcome to give all that a miss, of course, and move swiftly on to the nihonshu tasting area.
