David Hockney: The Yosemite Suite

One of the most acclaimed British artists of our time, pop art icon and painter extraordinaire David Hockney embraced the iPad as a creative tool before many of today's Apple-worshipping young creatives. Depicting landscapes from his native East Yorkshire to California's Yosemite, Hockney swipes up pieces that combine the warm touch of a pencil with the blurry lines of various digital tools while sparkling in vivid colours. This show at Nihonbashi's Nishimura Gallery consists of 25 drawings from the artist's 2010 series 'The Yosemite Suite'.
