This Euro-leaning diner is possibly the best in the neighbourhood – home to a beautifully designed 75-seat dining room, a six-seat bar for post-beach Spritzes, and a semi-private dining room with a round marble table and burnt-orange chairs, that deserves a page in Architectural Digest. Order the spaghetti.
A visit to the beachside neighbourhoods of Bronte and Tamarama is about as quintessential a Sydney experience as you could ever hope to find. Sun, sand and surf – the holy trinity of life in the Harbour City – are perhaps the biggest draws. The ever-popular Bondi to Coogee Coastal Path make the Bronte to Tama clifftops some of the most-strolled in the city, and the ridiculously beautiful Bronte Baths offer one of the best saltwater lap pools (and sunrise spots) in the city. But there’s more to this corner of Sydney than just a day at the beach. Among the residential streets, you’ll find some of the city’s most charmingly stress-free brunch spots and a handful of lowkey drinking holes for a sundowner as dusk moves in from the west.
