Time Out says

'Take My Breath Away'. 'NeverEnding Story'. 'Safety Dance'. You know the songs, but, even if you were alive and listening to music during the '80s, you may not know the artists who made a splash with these big hits and then faded politely into the background.

Or maybe you are a huge fan who knows that these acts are way more wonderful than their one-hit status might imply.

Take Limahl – the lead singer of new romantics Kajagoogoo, whose spectacular hairdos left Bowie's Goblin King in the dust, and who had a hit with 'Too Shy'.

Or Canadian new wavers Men Without Hats: 'Safety Dance' was their moment in the sun, but their hard-edged synthesizer pop influenced generations to come.

Californian Martika headlines the show and no doubt will play songs like 'Toy Soldiers' and her version of Carole King's 'I Feel the Earth Move'. Berlin will play the Top Gun theme, Katrina from Katrina and the Waves will sing 'Walking on Sunshine', and Paul Lukakis will seranade you with the charming suggestion, 'Boom Boom (Let's Go Back to My Room)'. And remember Stacey Q of 'Two of Hearts' fame? Yep, she's in too.

They'll be joined by Australian acts Wa Wa Nee ('Stimulation') and Real Life ('Send Me an Angel' – a number one hit in Germany, BTW).
