Kunsteisbahn Bundesplatz

Bern’s Bundesplatz is a pretty setting to practise your skating on a temporary ice rink. Free to use (skates can be hired for a small charge) the rink attracts thousands every winter, not just to skate but to also absorb the festive atmosphere, listen to live music and watch occasional ice-hockey matches over a glass of glühwein. Snacks and larger meals are on offer at the on-site restaurant, from soups and hog dogs to fondue, schnitzel and flammkuchen.
