The YWCA of Sri Lanka is organizing a cycle parade to commemorate ‘International Women’s Day’ and create awareness among the public on the need to prevent violence against women and girls. It's open to both men and women.
Parade Route - Temple Trees, Perahera Mawatha, Gangarama Road, Pittala Junction, Dharmapala Mawatha, Nelum Pokuna Mawatha, CWW Kannangara Mawatha, Independence Avenue, turn left onto Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Thummulla Junction, and conclude at Havelock Grounds.
Theme Colour - Light Purple
Dress code - Dark Blue Denim an Purple T-shirt
A vehicle will be arranged for those not riding cycles.
