Tewatta Basilica of our Lady of Lanka

The only Basilica in Sri Lanka, Tewatta Basilica of Our Lady of Lanka is a site revered by Catholics all around the island especially during the annual feast which falls in February. The origin of the church dates back to 1911. It is set within a large land and pilgrims usually picnic on the grounds after devotion.
