Did you know the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) fires photons at 99.9999991 percent the speed of light? Betcha don’t even know what a 'photon' is. Okay, neither do we.
Which is why we're stoked that Collider is coming to town this month. The part science show, part art exhibition demystifies the weird, quantum-y stuff that goes on at the European Organisation for Nuclear Research, better known as CERN, through stunning visualisations, replicas of labs, and other artefacts.
Curating the exhibition is a bonafide physicist, Dr Harry Cliff, who has worked at CERN himself. So you know this is pretty legit stuff.
