Time Out says

Located along the stretch of West Coast Highway where road cyclists frequently zoom by, is 3 Monkeys. This popular casual dining spot amongst the Pasir Panjang neighbourhood comes in a form of a warm homely diner that seeks to please all foodies alike with a mean American fusion menu.

Boasting an extensive menu for its size, the husband and wife duo who owns the joint proudly preach about having something for everyone on every occasion. With that said, they are serious when it comes to serving up soul comforting burgers, tasty bar grub and even a section dedicated to the nostalgic cheesy baked rice most of us grew up eating. Coupled with freshly pulled pints of local craft beers from 10 taps and thick shakes to wash all that nosh down, it's no surprise they draw in a healthy crowd from the surrounding business parks during lunch and dinner.

For the health-conscious or seeking something lighter, customisable hearty grain bowls ($9.90) and Açaí bowls ($10) are also available.

MUST TRY King Kong ($16.50). This big boy burger comes loaded with a thick 100% beef patty with the usual bacon, cheddar and caramelized onions. A smoky chipotle mayo and spicy jalapenos are added to dream up a Tex-Mex affair while finished with a fried egg for that oozing yolk to gel the entire gargantuan bite altogether. Ask to pair it with a hoppy IPA on tap to help amplify that Jalapeno heat if you're looking for an extra kick.

A literal nostalgia served ironically in an uncanny tin is the Ma Ling Fries ($10.90). Salty and crispy luncheon meat sticks paired with a creamy sweet and spicy dip that is a match made in heaven. Ask to pair it with a refreshing and floral Kölsch on tap to help cut the grease and jumpstart your tastebuds for the next bite.

Gooey, chocolatey and mad fudgy, the Sizzling Chocolate Brownie ($8) is served on a sizzling plate with a luscious scoop of vanilla ice cream. This hot and cold combo is a must order that is worthy of every sinful bite. Pair it with a porter or a stout to maximise the enjoyment of the rich chocolatey treat.
