Time Out says

Tom's Palette has been around since 2005, but never let it be said that the brand's tired. The beloved ice cream shop is back with a revamped space in Bugis, and it's a laidback, artistic haven. At the art studio-inspired shop, you can dig into 36 flavours at any one time – though Tom's Palette draws from an impressive library of over 200 flavours.

Crowd favourites include Granny's Favourite, salted egg yolk, salted caramel cheesecake, and chocolate sorbet. The brand has an array of more unconventional, Asian-inspired flavours. Keep track of its weekly flavours and specials, and you might have the chance to try the likes of soya bean youtiao, nasi lemak, luo han guo, and pi pa gao. If you're in a big group (or have a big appetite), try six flavours of your choice with the Tom's Palette ($29.80). Otherwise, single scoops go at $5.20 and waffles at $7.50 (top up $1.50 for a drizzle of pure maple syrup).

Interested in learning how to make your own ice cream and gelato? Tom's Palette also runs fun introductory workshops. Just email them to enquire about dates and prices.
