The Cider Pit

East of Avalon Wines owner George Kirton’s bar in Joo Chiat has, once again, moved to a new location (he's no longer at the open-air lot right outside Ocean Kingdom Seafood Restaurant), and he's found a home in a shophouse and he’s still offering some of the best prices this side of a hawker centre – a pint of the draft is pegged at $10, while a half-pint goes for $5. And that would be Stella Artois and Weston’s Organic Vintage Cider on tap.
