All of Seoul’s abuzz about the new space that’s about to open near Seoul Forest. The Under Stand Avenue mall consists of 115 container boxes reminiscent of Konkuk University's "Common Ground." Calling itself a "creative public cultural space" that aims to support teenagers, artists, social entrepreneurs and local vendors, there are more than just shops in this mall. The unique spaces include: the Youth Stand, a center for teenage job education and employment; Heart Stand, a meditative stress-free zone; a Mom Stand that offers jobs to women; an Art Stand that aids artists; a Power Stand that assists youths in opening their own businesses; a Social Stand that introduces social entrepreneurs' fair trade, eco-friendly, green products; and the Open Stand, which helps young people's venture corporations. It's a new, comprehensive cultural space where shopping, education, experiences and exhibitions all take place at the same time. It will lead customers to engaging in positive consumption while it provides producers and minority groups with activities and independence
