Hit up the pool parties before long john season

Partying in the winter means heavy coats, scarves and sometimes even long johns (yup, real attractive, we know). It’s pretty damn hard (and really freaking cold) to look sexy past September so make good use of those designer bathing suits you probably wear only once or twice a year and get all the partying out of your system at Seoul’s select pool parties.

Going particularly big this year with four different sessions is the 2015 Walkerhill Bikini Pool Party. Take a wild guess as to which color you should wear at the Fashion TV White Party on July 24th. Come back again when Pacha Ibiza will be coming in from Spain for the event on August 1st and for big names in house like Ministry of Sound and Hed Kandi on the 14th and 22nd respectively. Each night promises to deliver with live performances, dancers and guest DJs as well. Oh and did we mention it all takes place at the Sheraton Grande Walkerhill Hotel? Yes, there will be five star service such as drinks and snacks to go with those sexy feels.

The Walkerhill’s biggest competition is most likely the Hamilton Pool Festival, happening every week until August 22nd. An infamous hot spot for mingling, wink at the cutie that catches your eye and run into them at the afterparty later. Your online ticket of 30,000 won includes a free drink, a mix CD, entrance to the afterparty and a glowstick. Sure, it doesn’t feel as upscale as the others but at that price, it’s not bad.

Those in search for something a bit more Bohemian and laid back might be able to find it at Maison de Bali’s pool party located in Gapyeong. Inspired by our Southeast Asian neighbor, the pool party has a tiki style bar at one end as well as colorful Christmas lights. Since most people are not Gapyeong residents, everyone’s looking for a good time on their summer break. Make those last weekends count.
