It’s rather amusing to watch the locals elbow each other in their haste to score a bowl of Hokkien mee at the stall in One Corner Café. The prawn noodles, which lean towards the spicy side, are generously garnished with fried onions, small shrimps and slivers of pork. If you feel like something else, circle the café’s other stalls for char kuey teow, yam cake, economy rice, chicken rice and more.
