An exotic patch that rests atop the Penang Hill is where monkey cups (you might recognize them as Nepenthes or pitcher plants) grow in full bloom. This mossy garden was established recently and it houses a wide variety of plants originating from the deep jungles of Malaysia and Indonesia to as far as Madagascar and Brazil. This place is chilly in most days and at times, visitors are seen barbecuing away with their family and close friends. A monkey cup for souvenir? The price of this carnivorous plants starts from RM20.
