Time Out says

If you’ve been overindulging in the caffeine, red wine and nicotine that so often comes with enjoying Paris, head to Bob’s Cold Press when you’re ready for a detox. The younger sibling of Bob’s Kitchen is a miniscule venue in the 11th arrondissement, manned by a couple of fresh-faced young Americans who have charge of a specially-designed fruit and vegetable press supposed to preserve the vitamins and other nutrients contained in the fruit fibres.

For example, the ‘Green 1’, detoxifying and invigorating, is a clever mix of apple, spinach, celery, fennel, lemon, ginger and mint. It might look a bit like toad juice from a distance, but it’s fresh, flavourful and easily downed. If drinking fennel doesn’t appeal, try the ‘Lait végétal’ (almonds, dates, filtered water, sea salt and cinnamon), the citrus mix (orange, carrot, grapefruit and turmeric) or a root vegetable version (beetroot, carrot, apple, ginger).

Naturally, everything is organic, and the venue is also planning to launch a healthy lunchtime food menu. While you wait, the precious mixtures are sold in 50cl bottles for €10 each – you can even set up a three-day detox programme with home delivery.
