This riverside bar (sister of the Parce des Buttes Chaumont’s Rosa Bonheur) comes into its own during the summer months. En attendant Rosa – which translates as ‘Waiting for Rosa’ – waits for warm(ish - this is Paris, after all) weather to start welcoming the crowds to its makeshift terrace. This year they proudly present their newest feature: the bar's own boat, which is moored at the bar’s current location underneath the Pont Alexandre III, serving as the bar’s permanent home. This is good news for its legions of fans, who come here to munch hot dogs and quaff reasonably-priced wine. The imaginative tapas are worth a try: tuna pâté, creamed artichoke and sea urchin taramasalata all figure.
