The photographers of the Magnum agency tell the stories of Paris’s history in 150 shots. Taken by Henri Cartier-Bresson, Raymond Depardon, Robert Capa, Martin Parr, Marc Riboud and more, the series of photos has been carefully selected and put together in an exhibition showing at the Hôtel de Ville. The ‘Paris Magnum’ exhibition is a wide-ranging portrait of Paris: from the 1930 strikes to the demonstrations of May ’68, the appearance of mini-skirts and the construction of landmarks such as the la Défense arch.
