Time Out says

We’ve all heard of food porn, but the Parr diet is something else. British photographer Martin Parr is back in Paris, putting a different spin on the festive season with his latest exhibit ‘Food’. Ironic and mocking, the British photographer has slathered pictures of unhealthy foods all over the basement of the Kamel Mennour gallery. The Western world’s eating habits (especially the United States) are in the firing line, and excessive consumerism is to blame.

Anything but mouth-watering, this anti-foodie exhibition is likely put you off the fatty foie gras, calorie-stuffed turkey and cholesterol-lades cake you had planned for Christmas dinner. You can’t say Parr didn’t warn you. His photos of disgusting, dripping foods are enough to inspire festive food forbearance.
