The fabulous museum of Impressionist art, the Marmottan, introduces Marie Laurencin: trained at l’Académie Humbert and at Bateau-Lavoir, supported by Picasso, Apollinaire and others, she stood out at the beginning of the 20th century for her loose brushwork and mastery of the self portrait. 90 works are on display here, tracing her 50-year artistic career.
