In honor of the venerable National Yiddish Theatre–Folksbiene's 100th anniversary, comedians, singers, dancers, and cabaret performers from South Africa, Germany, Norway, Mexico, Israel and other far-flung corners descend on the city to celebrate Jewish and Yiddish culture.
