The Perfect Storm author Sebastian Junger presents this Afghan war doc, which follows an American army platoon into the country's Korengal Valley, a place they dub "The Valley of Death." Junger codirected the canny flick with photojournalist Tim Hetherington, who was killed while on assignment in Libya in 2011, and he'll discuss his colleague's work and the film with platoon member Sgt. Brendan O’Byrne and photojournalist Michael Kamber. The screening also provides a good opportunity to see the museum's "WAR/PHOTOGRAPHY: Images of Armed Conflict and Its Aftermath" exhibit, up through Feb 2.
