Animation Block Party

This beloved cartoon festival takes over Brooklyn for its 15th summer weekend of animated shorts and features from around the world. The weekend kicks off with an opening celebration at Littlefield featuring a new Pingu the Penguin film; then, BAM hosts three days of bangin' premieres and retrospectives, including a 30 year anniversary screening of Akira, the NYC debut of the bonkers new film MFKZ and blocks focusing on the work of female animators.
