American Black Film Festival

The ABFF rings in its 19th year, though only its second in NYC. The fest relocated from Miami to New York last year, drawing an attendance of 19,000. This year's edition features the premiere of director Rick Famuyiwa’s DOPE, a screening of John Singleton’s Boyz n the Hood, panel discussions with the creators of Empire and Black-ish, and much more.
