The former site of the infamous Tammany Hall, this building was the home base of the corrupt political machine that controlled New York for the first half of the 20th century. Since its conversion into a 499-seat theater, it's housed many notable productions, from the seriously groundbreaking (The Laramie Project, Wit) to the fabulously campy (Bat Boy: The Musical).
