The Shops at Target
Paul.Weber
The retail giant has tweaked its pandemonium-causing collaboration model: This time, instead of partnering with a high-end designer, Target joins forces with specialty boutiques across the country. The Candy Store (San Francisco), beauty emporium Cos Bar (Aspen), pet store Polka Dog Bakery (Boston), home-decor mecca Privet (Warren, CT) and clothing purveyor the Webster (Miami) have been tapped to create exclusive collections at wallet-friendly prices. Expect twists on Webster’s heat-friendly apparel—including ladies’ color-blocked cardigans ($33) and men’s palm-print shorts ($30); and Cos Bar’s luxe bath products, such as blueberry–white-tea body scrubs ($6)—to fly off shelves. Visit target.com.
Trina Turk for Banana Republic
The California women’s designer has become synonymous with casual sophistication, and she brings her coveted resort aesthetic to Banana Republic with an almost 60-piece collection ($50–$150). The limited-edition line is the megachain’s latest designer collaboration, and includes warm-weather staples inspired by Palm Springs, such as a covetable pair of tropical-print silk shorts ($55). Dannijo x Matt Bernson
Two of our favorite local accessories labels have created a five-piece shoe collection ($238–$370), blending Bernson’s comfortable footwear silhouettes with the glamorous edge of jewelry by sisters Jodie and Danielle Snyder. Highlights include neon-and-glitter–accented cage booties ($325) and leather-and-pony-hair combat boots with zipper details ($370). mattbernson.com • dannijo.com.
Francisco Costa for Calvin Klein
Macy’s has long carried Calvin Klein apparel, but never the eponymous ready-to-wear collection often spotted on the red carpet. This spring, Calvin Klein Collection creative director Francisco Costa will release the style juggernaut’s limited-edition line of feminine crepe and jersey dresses ($135–$180), inspired by the designer’s native Brazil, exclusively at the department store.

This fourth-annual event celebrates plus-sized fashion with a series of workshops, shopping events, parties and runway shows featuring curve-loving indie designers, such as Rachel Pally White Label, Queen Grace Collection and Sorella Swim. The four-day schedule kicks off with a sunset cruise (June 13 6:45–11pm; $40) featuring a big-and-tall male fashion show and beats spun by DJ La Choc. Visit fffweek.com.
