This protected park features a few natural wonders. The northwest section is home to Staten Island's largest living thing: a one hundred and seven feet tall tulip tree that's at least 300 years old. Visitors will also happen upon lakes, ponds and scenic pathways. There are modern amenities too, including baseball diamonds, a soccer field, a basketball court, playgrounds, a football field, paddleboat rentals and an outdoor ice skating rink.
