Olde Good Things (CLOSED)

Upper West Siders may already be familiar with the eclectic mirrors that Olde Good Things lugs to the GreenFlea each weekend. Now you no longer have to wait for Sunday to roll around to scoop up OGT’s altered antiques: The minichain, which is owned by the nondenominational Church of Bible Understanding, has opened up its third New York location (the other two are in Chelsea and Union Square). Many items in the shop come from old building or factory parts that have been refurbished in the company’s Scranton, Pennsylvania, warehouse, such as an end table made from giant factory gear parts ($350) we recently spotted. There are also smaller salvaged items, including silver canisters that originally served as pharmaceutical bottles ($85 each) and decorative painted tin ceiling pieces ($35), which add major decorative impact for minimal cash.
