Her personal style: “Feminine and elegant, ladylike but fun.”
Her inspirations: “Audrey Hepburn, Twiggy and Mad Men.”
Her favorite NYC stores: “La Boutique (locations throughout the city; visit laboutiqueresale.com) is a resale store where you can always find amazing treasures in very good condition. Aloha Rag (545 Greenwich St between Charlton and Vandam Sts; 212-925-0882, aloharag.com) because it carries my friend’s jewelry brand, Ahkah (ahkah.jp/en). Pas de Deux (328 E 11th St between First and Second Aves; 212-475-0075, pasdedeuxny.com) has a great selection of clothes, but the interior of the store is also super charming.”
Her signature item: “My Chanel sunglasses with the old-lady glasses chain.”
Her style icon: “Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw. She always looked so charming and original yet sexy.”
How her style has evolved: “As I am getting older, I have been more careful with what I get. [I believe in] quality over quantity.”
How she describes NYC style: “Free. How you dress is who you are. Every style is so beautiful.”
Style motto: “Never slutty—dress like a lady.”
Favorite salon: “For haircuts, I go to Warren-Tricomi (1117 Madison Ave at 84th St; 212-262-8899, warrentricomi.com) to see my Japanese hairstylist Takashi Matono. For styling, I love Double-D-Production and Mila Arsovska (201-758-5874, dd-pro.com).”
Favorite spa: “I go to Yakson House (38 W 32nd St between Broadway and Fifth Ave; 212-564-7474) in Koreatown. The massage is really, really painful but your body feels so light afterward.”
