Having closed her retail store in January 2013, local designer and NYU and Parsons grad Jo Liu brings her architectural jewelry to a cozy showroom, focusing on her in-house line, Alibi by Jo.Liu, while still selling select pieces from other NYC designers. The 180-square-foot space uses vintage cupboards and frames to showcase the most recent collection inspired by the fearless warrior wolf-princess from the 1997 Hayao Miyazaki film, Princess Mononoke. Score Alibi by Jo.Liu hand-carved gold, silver or black-rhodium-plated pieces, including angular bangles ($236–$244), linear knuckle rings ($80–$120) and geometric necklaces ($119–$127).
