The Bonnie

Time Out says

This neighborhood restaurant first opened in October 2014 and has since turned into a lively destination for local beers, bespoke cocktails, comfort food, and live music. Decked out in cozy brick and wood touches, the buzzing gastropub also boasts a spacious outdoor area that's perfect for summertime catch-ups.

In the market for a bottomless brunch? You can enjoy 90 minutes of drinking for a reasonable $25 per person, with flowing Mimosas, Bloody Marys, sangria, Bonnie larger, or Firestone Walker Flyjack IPA. To pair with your drinks, you can't go wrong with the Brunch Burger, the Hot Honey Fried Chicken, or the Bacon, Egg and Cheese Deluxe.

The restaurant also hosts a happy hour from Mondays through Thursdays from 4pm–7pm and on Fridays from 12pm–7pm. Cheers to that!

The Bonnie says
Aptly named, The Bonnie hails as one of Ruairi Curtin’s most beautiful bars to date. Hospitality group Sleeping Giant (The Spaniard, The Penrose, The Wren, Bua, Wilfie & Nell, Sweet Afton) run this beautiful gastropub, serving upscale American bar food, craft cocktails, and local NY brews. Chef Nick Testa (winner of Food Network’s “Chopped”) creates hearty seasonal dishes, with his famous Fried Chicken Sandwich in a starring role. Dry-aged Pat La Frieda burgers are in a close second.

Step out into the sizeable Bar Garden, host to bustling weekend brunches, date nights, and
nightcaps under the string lights. The design allows for enjoyment year-round, the custom
retractable roof shielding any rain. The Bonnie also sets the scene for many intimate weddings and celebrations, with Chef at the helm of each curated reception menu.

Within the fixtures, bar stools, reclaimed wood ceilings, portraits- there is incredible meaning
behind every detail of the group’s seven (and growing) coveted bars. Bring your appetite to The Bonnie, and be prepared to ‘Stay Awhile’.
