Oliver Lake: 2 Trios

Alto saxophonist Oliver Lake, a veteran horn man and cofounder of important free-jazz ensembles like the World Saxophone Quartet and Trio 3, follows up a pair of 70th-birthday gigs earlier this month with another promising two-nighter. On Fri 26 he leads a trio with drummers Reggie Nicholson and Bill McCleland, while on Sat 27 he gigs with organist Jared Gold and drummer Chris Beck.
