Veteran Norwegian vocalist Karin Krog has proved her jazz bona fides in strong company. During the ’60s and ’70s she waxed classic sessions with the likes of Dexter Gordon, Red Mitchell and Clare Fischer; later, she went on to collaborate with Archie Shepp and Jan Garbarek. This extremely rare New York appearance, a benefit for the Norwegian Seamen's Church, reunites her with deft pianist and accompanist Steve Kuhn, with whom she's made three albums between 1974 and 2006.
