Gary Lucas, an avant-gutbucket six-stringer whose many areas of expertise include Beefheart and Jeff Buckley (both former collaborators of his), as well as ’30s Chinese pop and earthy rock, is also an ace soundtracker of silent films. Here he turns up for an intriguing post-Halloween gig, during which he'll play along with a screening of Drácula, a counterpart to the 1931 Bela Lugosi classic, shot on the very same sets and featuring a Mexican and Spanish cast. ¡Miedo!
