Barb Jungr: Hard Rain

One of the world's great cabaret singers, England's Jungr is a a joyful oracle, with a particular affinity for densely poetic work. Between songs, she is disarmingly garrulous, funny and candid; when she sings—in a warm, breathy voice acutely attentive to rhythm—she is serious but free of pretense.
