Time Out says

This beautifully renovated 1850s townhouse sits on a quiet street in Chelsea. The hotel was founded by late dance-music legend Mel Cheren, and is still run by (and primarily for) gay men; it’s a great place to stay, even if some of the cheaper rooms are a bit snug. Bonuses include fireplaces in three of the deluxe rooms and a rooftop deck (nude sunbathing is allowed). Rooms: 22.
