After more than 35 years as a B-52, postpunk belter Kate Pierson has finally recorded a solo album, Guitars and Microphones, featuring collaborations with the Strokes' Nick Valensi and pop genius Sia Furler. Her still-golden pipes should fill City Winery quite nicely.
