The Walter Reade Theater's acoustics are less than fabulous (it's mainly a cinema). Still, the Great Performers series offers Sunday morning events fuelled by pastries and hot beverages sold in the lobby, and composer-lecturer Robert Kapilow's What Makes It Great? series provides an entertaining introduction to major classical works.
