This Crown Heights vintage clothing shop is a treasure trove of wardrobe gems in excellent condition, at crazy-reasonable prices. Owner Melise Ozkardesler focuses on pieces from the late-Victorian era through the ’40s (with items from the ’50s through ’70s appearing as well). Off-white and exposed-brick walls, old-wood detailing and tiled floors give the space an antique feel; the vintage sewing machine used as a display table and the framed Victorian illustrations on the walls only add to the ambience. We were smitten with practically every item, particularly a late-19th-century museum-quality silk-and-lace wedding skirt ($178) and a 1930s off-the-shoulder gown with a floor-grazing sash ($178). More-modern pieces include a ’60s velvet V-neck dress with gathered shoulders ($58) and a classic ’70s Gunne Sax prairie frock with pearl buttons and a high lace collar ($48). Peruse the small but lovely shoe collection, featuring a pair of elfin Elsa Schiaparelli heels from the early ’30s ($78), and the jewelry selection, which is dominated by one-of-a-kind necklaces and brooches with antique brass stampings ($20–$85) that are handmade by Ozkardesler.
