Revolutionary New York Tour

The folks at Big Onion lead this two-hour tour of lower Manhattan’s Revolutionary War sites, including Federal Hall, the grave of Alexander Hamilton and Bowling Green. The walk is framed around George Washington’s reading of the Declaration of Independence at City Hall on July 9, 1776—you’ll trace his footsteps from the site of his inaugural address to Fraunces Tavern, where he departed the Continental Army in 1783.
