Bing Faithful's Very Merry Nondenominational Holiday Special
Celebrating the spirit of old-timey Christmas specials, this show on December 12 at the PIT sees crooner Bing Faithful attempt to go ahead with his musical variety show after learning, just moments before he walks onstage, that all five members of his band have been killed in a horrific bus crash. If you prefer flamingos to turkey at Christmas, or if you like your man in the red suit to have a pencil mustache rather than a white, bushy beard, head to City Winery for an evening with the one and only John Waters. The king of subversion is telling tales on December 14 at his sold out show, and superfans can shell out a little extra for a still available meet-and-greet ticket.
