New York Burlesque Festival: The Saturday Spectacular

Tonight's scintillating session of the big burly-Q bash—hosted by "the hardest-working middle-aged man in show business," Murray Hill—is indeed spectacular, with performances coming from the luscious likes of festival cofounder Angie Pontani, Gal Friday, the U.K.'s Kitty Kitty Bang Bang, Amsterdam's Xarah von den Vielenregen, Mr. Gorgeous, Amber Ray, Trixie Little, Tigger! and Jo "Boobs" Weldon. (And that's not the half of it, or even the quarter of it!) Brian Newman and his quintet provide the tunes. Afterward, everyone heads next door to Lucille's for a dance party, with DJ Momotaro on the wheels of steel.
