BEMF. DJ Shadow became an instant headphone hero in 1996 with his debut album, Endtroducing…, a stone-cold hip-hop classic that set off a decade swamped with imitative efforts by less distinctive sample-slayers. This show finds him joining forces with another hip-hop notable, esteemed spinner and producer Cut Chemist, an erstwhile member of Jurassic 5 and Ozomatli, to pay homage to one of the greats: Afrika Bambaataa. (They're using Bambaataa's actual vinyl!)
