Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival: Letherette

The Wolverhampton, U.K., recording duo Richard Roberts and Andy Harber, together known as Letherette (warm or not, we couldn't say), recently released a self-titled debut on the revered Ninja Tune label—and it was a fine example of beatsmithery, with a sound that picked apart the templates of R&B, pop and house, and pieced them back together in ear-tickling style. Tonight they'll be playing live as part of the big BEMF throwdown.
