After months of searching for Time Out New York’s next star blogger, a winner has finally been chosen! San Francisco resident Marcia Gagliardi beat out thousands of participants across America to win the big prize. Starting in December, Gagliardi will spend the next six months at Time Out, blogging about the best things happening in the city, while living rent-free in a one-bedroom apartment at The Ritz Plaza, a luxury building owned and managed by Stonehenge NYC. The Ritz Plaza boasts high-end amenities including a fitness center, member’s lounge, rooftop terrace, heated pool and the Let’s Drive NYC car-sharing program.

Gagliardi’s winning entry, “Seven things San Francisco restaurants need to stop doing, like, right now," was among the top 15 finalists opened up to public voting in the contest. Entrants were asked to submit a sample blog post on city living, and her funny, insightful skewering of San Francisco foodie culture managed to garner the most votes. She also maintains her own blog, Tablehopper.com.
